  How to Reverse Insulin Resistance

Insulin and insulin resistance:

Insulin is a hormone found in the human body that enables cells to take up glucose found in blood to be used as fuel (energy) or store it up as fat. This hormone is produced in the pancreas (an organ of the endocrine system). In the absence of insulin, glucose accumulates in the blood of an individual, hence, increasing the blood glucose level above the normal. If the increase is not too high, the individual will be diagnosed with prediabetes but if the blood glucose level increase is too high then you will be diagnosed with diabetes.
